MEET YOUR COUSINS #2

Today we feature Dorothy Lee Caffey McGregor’s children Frank and Cathy McGregor. Recently Cathy gave a tribute to Dorothy Lee as being a very gracious,smart and fun mother.  Her children certainly have inherited their mother’s wonderful personality.

FRANK McGREGOR (Dorothy Lee, Luella, Elmer)  lives in Edmond, OK.  Frank got his law degree from the Univ. of  Oklahoma.  I am proud to say he is now in the food industry as Executive Officer of the Carinos Italian Restaurants national chain.  When not working he is biking and golfing with his son Harrison McGregor (a future quarterback of his high school team).    Frank has also been the negotiator for the family oil interest in Roger Mills Co. CATHY MCGREGOR STOCKER (Dorothy Lee, Luella, Elmer) lives in Enid Oklahoma.  Cathy received her law degree from the Univ. of Oklahoma.  She has been the District Attorney representing several northwest Oklahoma Counties for the past 28 years.  At her retirement “roast” party there were several stories concerning her fun sense of humor that cannot be repeated here.  When Jane and Jim Anderson moved from Enid to Stillwater, Cathy and Rick bought  their home.  Cathy and her husband Rick West (Police Chief) have both retired  and are now enjoying fishing, horseback riding and farming on their newly acquired 160 acres.  Cathy’s email is cls@suddenlink.net.

After today we have 20 more great-grandchildren to feature their life accomplishments.  It has been a ball learning about all of their varied interests.

To put this in some sort of order I will try to publish the blog on Tuesday and Saturday (unless someone ask me to go fishing).

KATHRYN “KATE” GUERNSEY HINKE  (Curt Jr., Curt Sr., Elmer)  lives in San Jose, CA.  Kate works for two non-profit organizations.  She is the U.S. Director of Compassion for Migrant Children and also Director of Family & Community Programs for the U.S.-China Exchange Council.  Her husband Tom works for NASA/Ames Research Center.  Kate is currently working on several book manuscripts for both children and adults.  She certainly lives up to her motto  ” A ship in the harbor is safe, but that’s not what ships were built for”.  Kate’s email is wordsong7@gmail.com.

ROBERT GUERNSEY (Curt Jr., Curt Sr., Elmer) lives in Redondo Beach, CA.  Robert is a Camera Operator in the Motion Picture and TV Industry. We have all seen his work in one of the following, “The Walton’s”, more recently “Harry’s Law”,  TV movies “Buffalo Soldiers”, “Jacqueline Kennedy”,  TV series “Falcon Crest,” “Thirty Something”, sit-coms “Wings”, “”Frasier”,  feature films “Bull Durham”, “Pretty Woman” and this is only an abbreviated list!  His wife Sherilyn is a Computer Systems Analyst and is active with the Quilters Guild.  Robert’s email is  rasjg777@roadrunnner.com.
